This achievement marks the District’s thirteenth consecutive year of receiving this prestigious recognition.

Every year, the District develops a budget document that serves as a comprehensive financial roadmap outlining current finances, long term forecasts, capital improvement projects, and organizational priorities in a reader friendly format. The document is made available to the public as part of East Valley Water District’s commitment to financial transparency.
To earn the prestigious award, the District’s budget document underwent a rigorous review by an impartial panel of GFOA experts, who evaluated its quality, readability, and adherence to best practices. The recognition is granted only to government agencies that meet nationally recognized standards for effective budget presentation, including clarity, strategic planning, operational insight, and strong public communication.
